报告题目：On the concept of resilient systems

报告摘要：In recent years, a concept called “resilience” is emerging. In short, resilience describes a property of a system that after a system is partially damaged and its functions become problematic, it can fix the problems and move on. However, the concept of resilience is often confused by the concept of robustness and reliability. Further, how this concept is related to sustainability, fault tolerant, and self-healing is also not quite clear. In this talk, the speaker will clarify the concept of resilience and discuss some of the challenges in developing a resilient system.

报告人简介：章文俊教授是加拿大著名公立大学University of Saskatchewan（萨斯喀彻温大学）工程学院的终身教授，现任加拿大工程院院士，ASME会士、IEEE高级会士、SME高级会士等。章教授研究领域涉猎广泛，关注跨学科的研究议题，在系统工程、信息科学、制造工程、机电工程、生物医学等领域都开展了深入的科学研究与实践创新。章教授连续5年（2014-2018年）入选Elsevie高被引学者。截止2018年底，章教授已发表学术论文266篇，文章总引用量超过9411次，H指数为48。在人才培养方面，章教授累计培养博士生31名，硕士生66名，接收博士后及访问学者37名。章教授同时还担任多家知名国际学术期刊的责任编辑/副主编，被超过70个不同种类的国际期刊邀请作为论文审稿人。 数十年来章教授的科研及教育工作遍布荷兰、中国香港、澳大利亚、加拿大、美国等世界多国，使他不仅具有前瞻性的学术眼光，还积累了丰富的、国际先进的研究生教育培养经验，在为研究生提供高水平学术指导的同时，还为学生提供了广阔的国际交流资源与优质平台。
