Professor Adam Brandenburger from NYU Visits ECUST School of Business

At the invitation of ECUST Institute of Economic Development, Professor Adam Brandenburger, J.P. Valles Professor at the Stern School of Business at New York University, paid a visit to ECUST School of Business and gave a lecture entitled “Epistemic Game Theory: Language and Observation” on May 18th, 2015. Professor Wu Baijun, Dean of ECUST School of Business, presided over the lecture.

During the lecture, Professor Brandenburger first introduced the scientific foundation and historical origin of epistemic game theory, and presented the main conclusions drawn from research over the past years. Based on experimental data, he further explained the different levels of human beliefs. Finally, he stated on the future development direction of epistemic game theory.

After the lecture, Professor Brandenburger had a seminar with the teachers of ECUST Department of Economics, during which the two sides had in-depth communication on teaching, research, management and other issues of both schools.
