ECUST School of Business held a meeting to discuss its 13th Five-Year development plan on June 26th, 2015. The school leaders and department/research center/program directors attended the meeting. Wu Baijun, Dean of ECUST School of Business, presided over the meeting.

Li Yugang, Deputy Dean of ECUST School of Business, summarized the school’s work during the 12th Five-Year Period, and introduced the school’s planning for the 13th Five-Year Period based on the university’s guidelines.

Huang Lujin, Deputy Dean of ECUST School of Business, introduced the general situation and standards of AACSB accreditation that the school is going to apply for. As a major work during the 13th Five-Year Period, the AACSB accreditation application work is officially started by the school recently. Huang hopes that through the AACSB accreditation application work, the school would comprehensively integrate educational resources, enhance educational standards and quality, optimize management process, and further improve its fame and influence internationally.

Dean Wu Baijun summarized the achievements and challenges of the school during the 12th Five-Year Period on the aspects of student recruiting, school running, faculty construction, discipline development, scientific research, international accreditation, etc. Wu said that the school should move forward to become an internationally first-rate business school through setting clear goals, making effective strategic plans, adopting reforms to traditional education and research patterns, etc.
