In order to promote the establishment of the financial laboratory of School of Business, a group of seven teachers from the Department of Finance, led by Prof. Liu Jianguo, visited Shanghai Finance University (SHFC) on June 20th. 

Founded in 1952, Shanghai Finance University (SHFU) is a full-time state-owned academic institution. The university has a very sound and comprehensive subject structures covering art, law, science and engineering with emphasis put on economics and management and finance taken as its core. SHFU has been committed to developing various skills required by China’s economic and finance industries during the past few decades and as a result, SHFU is praised as a "Cradle of Future Financial Experts".

Established in 2005, the “Modern Finance Experimental Teaching Center” of SHFU covered an area of over 920 square meters and its total investment exceeds 8.7 million RMB. The seven laboratories of the center are related to banking, insurance, financial management, accounting, trade finance, logistics finance and financial information.

The two sides discussed in a conference about the establishment of financial laboratories, the building of the experimental teaching system, the curriculum, etc. Moreover, the two sides reached intention of communication and exchange.
