Recently, the ECUST Professional Master’s Programs Office held an annual faculty symposium. Over 20 teacher representatives and staff members attended the symposium.

Prof. Yan Haifeng, deputy dean of School of Business, presided over the symposium. First, Prof. Yan introduced the enrollment situation of the Office in 2012. He pointed out that the objective of the programs was to stabilize the scale, improve the quality and management, and acquire unique characteristics. In particular, Prof. Yan sincerely invited the teachers to offer their valuable suggestions with an aim to improve the work done by the Office.

The teachers present spoke out freely. They offered many suggestions, such as establishing a case library, promoting case teaching and Action Learning, discussing teaching methods, offering more innovative courses, strengthening the development of teaching materials, providing more training opportunities for teachers, etc.

In the end, Prof. Yan thanked the teachers for their valuable suggestions, which were very helpful to the improvement of the programs. Meanwhile, he said that the Office would spare more efforts in developing the EDP Programs.
