Vice President of Keiser University Visits ECUST School of Business

Prof. Zhanjun Yang, vice president of Keiser University, leading a delegation of 6 people, visited ECUST School of Business on May 29th. Dean Wu Baijun, Deputy Dean Huang Lujin and Deputy Dean Yan Haifeng of ECUST School of Business warmly received the guests.

Prof. Wu Baijun expressed warm welcome to the Keiser University delegation. He said that Shanghai is a city with the education industry developing rapidly. With the convenient and fast railway traffic closely connecting Shanghai and its nearby provinces, the educational resources are well shared. Against this background, ECUST School of Business has been developing quickly in the recent years. Currently, the School offers EMBA, MBA, MPAcc and other professional master’s programs. On this basis, the School plans to offer educational programs at the doctoral level so as to provide a better platform for its alumni and China’s senior management personnel to pursue advanced studies.

Prof. Zhanjun Yang introduced that Keiser University is the second biggest private university in Florida, USA. Currently it has over 20,000 students. Attaching great importance to international education, Keiser University has opened educational branches in Europe and New Zealand. Yang said that Keiser University is willing to cooperate with such a prestigious Chinese university as ECUST in the future.

In the end, the two sides discussed the areas and programs of possible collaboration. This meeting has laid a solid foundation for future communication and cooperation between the two sides.
