At the invitation of ECUST Research Center for Virtual Business and ECUST Institute of Operations and Supply Chain Management, Dr. Rachel R. Chen, Associate Professor at the Graduate School of Management at University of California at Davis, visited ECUST for academic exchange on December 9th. During this visit, Dr. Chen made an academic report on “Quality provision with heterogeneous consumer reservation utilities” to the teachers and students in relevant research fields of ECUST.

Dr. Rachel R. Chen expounded on the paper’s research purpose, research questions, literature review, model building, case study, etc. She also shared her experience in topic selection and framework building of papers. Moreover, the teachers and students present had in-depth discussion with Dr. Chen on the problems they encounter in research.
