Dr. Yu Chen, Assistant Professor at the Department of Accounting of Texas A&M University (US), gave a lecture entitled “Audit Fees and Social Capital” to the teachers and students of the Department of Accounting and the Institute of Corporate Finance, ECUST School of Business, on the afternoon of May 18th. Professor Ruan Yongping, Director of the Department of Accounting and the Institute of Corporate Finance, ECUST School of Business, presided over the lecture.

During the lecture, Dr. Chen had heated discussion with the teachers and students present, and shared his experience in academic research and paper publication. He also expressed the hope to cooperate with ECUST teachers in certain research fields in the future.
