Huijian Dong is a tenured Associate Professor of Finance at Pacific University in Oregon and the President of FINC Institute of Business. He earned his PhD in financial economics from the University of Delaware and earned the CFA as well as the CAIA designation. He is the Unit Head-elect of the Finance, Economics, and Entrepreneurship Division at the University of South Florida, St. Petersburg, as well as the Director of the Wealth Management Center at USFSP. Serving on various committees, he is an active member of the CFA Society Portland. His current research interest focuses on investment strategies and asset valuation. He has more than 20 publications on research journals including Journal of Business, International Business Research, Journal of Finance and Investment Analysis, British Journal of Mathematics & Computer Science, Economics Research International, and Journal of Computations and Modeling. He sole-authored of three books in a series, Interviewing a Professor of Finance, for investment practitioners, and another book guiding investors in China for U.S. equity market. His primary teaching interests includes Fixed Income Asset Pricing, Derivatives, Advanced Topics in Finance, Entrepreneurial Finance, Corporate Finance, Operations Management, and Global Finance.
